Georgw W's Dad and the 41st U.S.
President. George Sr. suffers from Graves’ disease. (autoimmune hyperthyroidism) He is now being treated and is
taking thyroid hormone replacement therapy to control his hypothyroidism.
It should be noted that thyroid problems are a major
cause of Atrial Fibrillation and your doctor will/should rule this our with a blood test.
His first symptoms were atrial fibrillation, severe
fatigue, hand-tremors and a mild goiter. Amazingly, President Bush’s wife Barbara and his dog Millie were
also diagnosed with diseases causing them hyperthyroidism.
Historical Fact: It is believed that the second U.S.
President, John Adams also suffered from Graves’ disease-hyperthyroidism and probable afib as
well.
